Google adds Animated GIF Search to its Image Search

Google enhanced the image search by adding new filter to its image Search page. Now you can easily search the animated images using google search. Google added animated, clip art, line drawings, photos and faces as new filters to image search page.

Google announced this new feature on its Google+ profile. Google has tried to make it easier to search for the animated GIF images over its search engine.

How to search animated GIF images using Google Image Search ?

  • Now you will see the search results and also a button labelled “Search tools”.

  • Click the Search tools button and then click the “Any type” drop down button. From the drop down menu select “Animated”.

  • Now you will see all image results filtered having animated gif images.

I have searched for the animated images of “dancing dog” and the results shows the animated gif images of dancing dogs. Similarly you can try out other keywords too. Search for your favorite animated images more easily with the new search feature.

After clicking the “Search tools” button many drop down buttons labelled “Any size”, “Any color”, “Any Type”, “Any time” are visible. These image search filters helps to get the perfect image which you want.

It looks like Google is focussing on fewer of its products to make them perfect. It’s obvious that “Search” is in the top priority list of Google.

The new features added will greatly for designers as its easy to search for a particular size, search for images with transparent background using the “Any color” drop down menu. These features are making the Google Search a more organized search engine with lots of features.
